This aircraft and G-AZXK/NZ6364 (in the 1972 Farnborough flying line-up) were among the 10 Strikemasters acquired by New Zealand in 1972, supplemented by a further six in 1975. They were used primarily as conversion trainers until the MB.339 arrived in 1992 and were known locally as "Blunty" thanks to the rounded nose. After serving 14 Sqdn, NZ6365 was retired to become a ground instructional trainer at Woodbourne
