This Electra has a new look. It is wearing the long tail unit from Electra C-FLXT (including its reg on the fin!), which is now a working air tanker. It will never fly again but its parts keep others in the air. Retired Riley Rocket C-GXJP rests beside it.

Ex Mandala Airlines PK-RLD. Has been sitting here for several years as a parts source

Former Mandala Electra (ex PK-RLD) being worked on in the Air Spray hangar at Red Deer. It is still in Mandala colours, and the name "Kencono Wungu" is still vaguely visible on the nose. All work on this aircraft was later abandoned and the Electra ended up in storage at Red Deer as a spares aircraft.

Delivered to Northwest Airlines as N123US in August 1959, this aircraft flew for the San Diego Padres baseball team, Air California and Mandala Airlines (as PK-RLD), before being acquired by Air Spray. The basic colors shown here are Mandala's.
