Taxiing out from its Howey Bay dock at the 2000 Red Lake Norseman Festival. Modified much earlier with panoramic widows and a metal skinned fuselage. Built as USAAF UC-64A 43- 5376. Carried out work in South America in the 1950s and '60s. Became N47801 in 1971. Exported to Canada in 1981 as C-FKAS. Rebuilt after a 1995 crash in the Gulf Islands, BC, when a float strut failed and it cartwheeled and sank. Joined West Caribou Air Service at Staunton Lake, Ontario in 1997. The metal fuselage allowed detailed murals to be painted on both sides.

Notable on this Noorduyn Norseman are the unusual cabin side windows. This probably happened when the fuselage was metalized in 1957 prior to service in the jungles of Peru.
