The museum displays a large selection of military aircraft that used to be exhibited in an outdoor area that is now closed. Unfortunately, all of the aircraft are now positioned very close together, which is very challenging for photographers. In addition, over the years, a lot of material has fallen from the ceiling and accumulated on the exhibits.

Built as L-20A 58-2061 for the US Army and delivered as such in October 1959. The Beaver was redesignated U-6A in 1962 and later delivered to the RoC Army where it served with the Taiwan Army Transportation School in Taipei.

On maintenance with boom removed showing it's c/n on the airframe. Originally carried the test registration D-HZYX. Later to D-HMLE & ZA-XLE.

Delivered to Royal Saudi Air Force March 14th 2016.

The ID of this aircraft is in some doubt. I received conflicting confirmations from ground crews. Apart from 1011 (which is a T) 8011 was mentioned most.
