This WWII combat veteran was built at Wiener Neustadt in 1944 and saw service on the Eastern Front with II/JG52. She was captured intact by the Americans near Munich and transported back to the US for evaluation. Ed Maloney, the Planes of Fame founder, saved her from the scrapman and she is now on display at their museum at Valle.
