This 'Fitter' is being prepared for take off. It is equipped with a KKR-1 reconnaissance pod.

A fine study of a Su-22M4 equipped with the 1970s KKR-1 reconnaissance pod. It is used for optical forward and vertical photography as well as electronic intelligence from small and medium heights, day and night. The improved variant was introduced in the early 1980s. The length of the pod is 6.79 m, width 0.59 m, height 0.58 m and weights up to 800 kg. Check the airbrakes on the rear too! Serial 3201 had manufacturer date 1 Feb'86 and was delivered to the Polish Air Force later that year to 7.plb-r. Here it is seen with its last user, 21.BLT. The aircraft was withdrawn from use on 11 Sep'25.

Radom Air Show has a tradition to uphold when it comes to flypasts. The 2017 edition was no exception, with Su-22M4 3201 leading a pack consisting of 3612 and 3304 among others.

Taxiing out for the 2010 Independence Parade over Mexico City is C295M 3201 of the Mexican air force. It was delivered with these light grey colours via Fortaleza, Brazil on 30 July 2010 and has since been painted dark grey.
