A real oddball - a Heinkel HD.22 (not He 22) trainer bought by the US Army for use by the assistant military attaché for Aviation in Berlin, Maj George E A Reinburg. On photo 302347 this plane can be spotted in a hangar at Tempelhof in 1933, wearing horizontal rudder stripes and its assigned serial number 30-420.
