6 Mar '44: TOS USAAF. D-Day: Was lead aircraft for the invasion, dropping paratroopers of the 101st Airborne Division at 0048. Hit by Flak. Returned to England, repaired Flak damage, then made 2nd mission in the evening, delivering a glider load of troops and equipment. 1944: Flew many missions flying supplies into France and evacuated wounded troops to England. 15 Aug 44: Dropped paratroopers in Operation Dragoon. 17 Sep 44: Dropped paratroopers during Operation Market Garden. 12/44-1/45: Flew supply missions during Battle of the Bulge. 24 Mar 45: Dropped paratroopers for Operation Varsity.

Delivered to USAAF March 1944 as 42-92847 and lead D-Day paratrooper drops as "That's All Brother." It was stored at Walnut Ridge by October 1945. Registered N88874 in 1946 it was operated by a succession of companies until being painted in military colors some time around 2002. Aircraft finished an extensive restoration at Basler Turbo Conversions in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and made its first post restoration flight on January 31, 2018.
