3 May 45: To USAAF as C-54D 42-72592, transferred directly to USN as R5D-3 56511. UNK: converted to R5D-3Z. 1962: Redesignated VC-54S. Mar 72: US Military Training Mission, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Feb '75: Began civilian life, eventually registered N67029 then N9016Q and back to N67029. Dec '95 it was stored at Ellsworth AFB and in April 1996 it was registered to the Air Force Museum as it joined the AFM Loan Program and loaned the plane to the South Dakota Air & Space Museum..

Delivered to the USAAF as C-54D 42-72592 then transferred to the US Navy as R5D-3 56511 in 1945. Redesignated as a VC-54S in 1962. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB with park code 3C083 in 1970. Sold as N67029 in 1975 and used by a number of operators. Preserved at the South Dakota Air and Space Museum as 42-72592 from 1995.
