VH-CAO was built as a series 1B for the Department of Civil Aviation in 1964 and converted to a 3B in 1967. After a couple of failed attempts to export the aircraft, it was withdrawn from use in 1991. Its remains were trucked to The Oaks, west of Sydney.

Qantas crew trainer. It was modified to handle like a Boeing 707 and had some instrumentation from the 707. It was withdrawn from use in 1981, its Viper engines sold to Rolls Royce and the airframe disposed of. It was trucked to a small airstrip at The Oaks, west of Sydney, where it became derelict.
