Delivered to the Airforce in August 1985 the mid fuselage was later used to repair an F3, ZE251. This cockpit section was mounted on a rig at Boscombe Down and used for trials. It is now one of many nose sections at the Boscombe Down Aviation Collection, formed in 2012, a museum that is well worth a visit, Andover XS790 is behind and a BAC1-11 cockpit can be seen on the right.

Seen landing, the prototype F.2 in the manufacturers livery. The reverse thrust is throwing the engine smoke forward in front of the fin, typical of Tornados.

First flying in 1979, this F.2 demonstrator became an instructional airframe at Coningsby as 9253M but has apparently not been noted since 2005
