This aircraft was dismantled in Nov 1977 and trucked to Pfinztal-Söllingen in early Dec 1977, for use as a restaurant. But plans were abandoned and it was scrapped there in early 1978. The registration is painted out but Mick Harrison can be seen reading it!

Among the first of 18 Noratlas transports presented to Portugal by the West German AF in 1965, and ex GA+235. Another 12 (N.2502's) came from France, six ex-factory and six ex-civilian. Widely used in Portugal's African interests, they were declared surplus from 9.77; this one is not among the few that survived

Elbeflug obtained some 13 surplus Noratlas transports in 1970 after the WGAF fleet was withdrawn, with the intention of carrying goods and fresh produce into remote airstrips. But after massive corporate fraud was uncovered, they never went into service. This survivor was formerly 52+56. Difficult to photograph on the sunny side due to proximity of thick boundary vegetation

Paying a short visit to Hellinikon from its Elefsis base, this 354 Mira Noratlas is now preserved at Tripolis AB. One of 60 acquired from Germany, the serial was derived from its previous WGAF career as 53+40
