Possibly the most rare a/c in the RoKAF. This An-2, one of some 12 of the RoKAF, belongs to the Seongmu airforce academy. The An-2 is a defector from North Korea (DPRK). The RoKAF adopted the type as an adversary aircraft. Should a conflict break out on the Korean peninsula, it is expected that huge number of DPRK An-2s would swarm into South Korean airspace and deliver special forces troops directed against key targets. This An-2 was originally delivered to MÉM Rep. Szolgálat in December 1978 and transferred across to Air Service Hungary in January 1990. The plane was placed on display in the Szolnoki Repüléstörténeti Kiállítóhely (the old Szolnok museum) in these fake markings to represent the first Hungarian AF An-2. The fuselage has transferred over to the new RepTár museum but, hopefully, the rest of the plane will be eventually reassembled there.

This An-2 was originally delivered to MÉM Rep. Szolgálat in December 1978 and transferred across to Air Service Hungary in January 1990. The plane was placed on display in the Szolnoki Repüléstörténeti Kiállítóhely (the old Szolnok museum) in these fake markings to represent the first Hungarian AF An-2. The fuselage has transferred over to the new RepTár museum but, hopefully, the rest of the plane will be eventually reassembled there.
