Delivered on 30 July 1968, the helicopter was adorned with a tiger colourscheme celebrating 70 years 439 squadron 1924-1994, just before it was retired in the mid 90s. It spent a few years as an instructional helicopter at Borden and had moved to Bagotville, homebase of 439 squadron, by June 2007, when this picture was taken. Since June 2011, it has been reported on display in the base museum at Bagotville.

This is an Iroquois that operated with the RCAF/Canadian Armed Forces from 1968 until 1995. During that time, it served originally with 403 Sqdn and later with 439 'Tiger' Sqdn, which was activated in Bagotville in 1993 as a Combat Support Unit. All CH-118 helicopters were replaced by Bell Griffons in 1995. After that the aircraft was used for Aircraft Battle Damage Repair training at CFBs Borden and Trenton until the end of May 2007.

Delivered to Canadian Armed Forces June 6, 1968, this Iroquois was tasked with base rescue in the mid-70s. It was designated an instructional airframe serialed 918C on February 11, 1997. The "C" denotes incomplete airframes or major components that still have some instructional value.

In February 1997 this Iroquois became an instructional airframe with serial 920C, with the C indicating that it was a sectioned aircraft.
