Björn Andreasson constructed and built the BA-7 during free time, when he was employed by Convair in the US in the 1950s. In early 1961 did her return home to Sweden and started working with Malmö Flygindusti, MFI. He brought the aircraft with him and it became SE-COW. The BA-7 was modified to a new version; the MFI-9 Junior.
