Horizon started operations in 9.81 with three Fairchild F-27s, the fleet later growing to 10 of the type. They were traded in to DHC just after the time of this photo for new Dash 8s

Having earlier enjoyed a corporate career flying for the Orinoco Mining Co as YV-O-CFO / YV-P-APZ and before that US Steel Corp as N12500, this Fairchild had pretty much reached the end of its useful life by the time of this photo, being scrapped in 3.90

Started out with Allegheny as N2705J in 11.65 and later HR-LAP with LANSA and N275PH with Horizon; to Uruguay 1.88 and wfu at MVD 12.95, quickly becoming derelict with many missing parts; later scrapped

Indonesia Trans National acquired this Fairchild from Air Manila in 1975, by this time stored along with PK-EHJ and looking abandoned. Originally Piedmont's N2704R; scrapped by the time the airport closed in 1985

Stored under the scorching Nevada sun, this F-27 earlier operated for UTA as F-OCXI, having originally been delivered in 3.64 to Pacific Air Lines (later merged into Air West then Hughes Airwest). Became HK-3356X with Aires Colombia in 10.87; wfu at Bogotá 9.94 and broken up three years later
