Entered USAF service in 1959 as an F-106B. After retiring from interceptor fighter squadron duties, converted to a QF-106B drone. Survived work as a drone at Tyndall AFB, Florida. Joined the Air Force Flight Test Museum at Edwards AFB, California in 2004. On show as part of the Century Circle display at the Edwards AFB gate.

One of the few which survived its use as a drone (serial number 275). It arrived at AMARC on 23 Feb 98 and was the only B Model of the six "Red Tails". It flew at both Holloman and Tyndall and there is no record of it making any NULLO flights. 59-0158 is a former Langley bird with the 48th FIS. It also served as a trainer for the Mercury astronauts. Since 25 Feb 03 it is displayed at the AFFTC Museum, Edwards AFB CA.
