This Viking has a rather interesting history. First retired to AMARG in Oct. 77, she waited five years in the desert before being 'regenerated' (hence the R in AMARG) to serve with VS-21 at NAF Atsugi, Japan. Her last deployment was aboard the USS Kitty Hawk before being retired (finally?) to DM during June 08 where she is now stored with the PCN/Inventory No. AN2S0059.
