Taken on strength in 1968. 1968-69: VA-97 as NK-503. 1969-70: VA-97 as NK-303. 1971: VA-303 as ND-312. 1973: VA-305 as ND-511. later ND-521. 9/1978: Put into storage at the AMARC bone yard with inventory code 6A115. Assigned as a ground trainer to Haineville, IL. Preserved at Great Lakes Training Center, IL. In 1998 preserved at Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Waterford, Rochester, WI.
