Assigned as a ground trainer to Haineville, IL. Preserved at Great Lakes Training Center, IL. In 1998 preserved at Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Waterford, Rochester, WI.

1968: TOS USN and assigned to Attack Squadron 97 (VA-97), NAS Lemoore, CA, and deployed aboard the USS Constellation for combat in Vietnam until January 1969. 8/69: Aboard the Constellation to Vietnam until May 1970. 1971: VA-303, NAS Alameda, CA. 1973: VA-305, NAS Point Mugu, CA. 18 Sep 1978: Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ for storage. It was then sent to Great Lakes Naval Station, IL, for use as an instructional airframe and then later preserved for display there. In 1998 it was given to the Waterford, WI, VFW.
