Seen here landing on runway 06 of Schiphol Airport. It flew for the Turkish charter airline between 1995 and 1998. After this it was converted to a freigher in 1999 and flew for 10 years on for TNT.

Originally del to Lufthansa (D-ABDI). To Pan Am (N878UM); Albatros (TC-ALB); Sultan TC-JUV and Bosphorus European (TC-IKO). Acquired by Air Alfa Feb 94. Wfu at East Midlands (UK) by Jan 1998.

On its first day of operation on lease to Air Alfa. The lease ended weeks later in July/94. This aircraft was previously D-ANUE with Bavaria, Germanair and Hapag-Lloyd, as well as G-BJRU with British Caledonian and British Airways. Last noted stored at Bucharest in 2003 and believed to have been B/U by Jul/2006.

Previous history includes delivery new to Lufthansa Jan 1971 as D-ABCI. Then to Pan Am as N876UM. Then it did the rounds with various Turkish operators, namely first with Air Alfa as TC-ALF, then Sultan Air as TC-JUC, Bosphorus Airways as TC-IHO, before returning to Air Alfa as TC-ALK until B/U at Lasham (UK) circa late 1996 or early 1997.

Something wrong with the nose undercarriage doors - they should not be in that position for landing!
