K-3003, one of the first Dutch NF-5As made its last flight on this day in 1986. It is seen here in 313sq markings arriving at the x-servicing at Gilze Rijen. It was soon after dismantled and transported by road to the Luchtmacht Electronische en Technische School (LETS, Air Force Electronic and Technical School) at Deelen on 22 Jan 1987. K-3003 was delivered to the Koninklijke Luchtmacht (KLu, Royal Netherlands Air Force) on 25 Apr 1970. The aircraft served as a gate guard at Eindhoven since 11 Apr 1991. A year later, the NF-5A was moved to Gilze Rijen and reserialled to K-3066 as a gate guard.

Enroute from Jackpot AG Range (Terschelling) to its homebase Twenthe (EHTW). Mission as part of the Tactical Operational Conversion Course (TOCC - post-UPT) for my pilot training class. Capt. Willem Nieuwland in the frontseat and my classmate 1Lt. Jack Mol in the tub.

To Turkey as 4016 in 1991. Preserved at Pinarbasi from 2017.

Delivered in September 1981 and remainded operational until January 1996. After its active life, the aircraft became an instructional frame. Now on display at a roundabout near the air base.
