Metro Aviation operates Benefis Healthcare's Mercy Flight program providing helicopter air medical transport in Montana and Northwest USA. This H145 joined Metro Aviation's fleet in August 2023.

This 1989 S-76B was registered N36CD and N7689S before acquired by Coulson Aircrane in 2010 and registered C-FIRW. Transferred to Coulson Aviation (USA) in 2019, the helicopter works with Orange County Fire Authority and the University of California San Diego (USCD). The university's WIFIRE program can forecast where a fire direction is predicted to go and identify risks and hazards for firefighters and communities using real-time fire maps from the helicopter.

Based in Missoula, MT and Reno, NV, Heli-1 offers helicopter charter and utility services. Their new H145 is pictured giving demonstration flights to prospective Airbus Helicopter customers during HAI Heli-Expo 2024 before it was registered to Heli-1 on March 12, 2024.

Delivered new to Honeywell in October 2007 their AW139 , while still wearing the familiar red and white flight test colors, has an updated design.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACFD) Air Operations operates 10 aircraft - 5 Sikorsky S-70 Firehawks (three S-70A and two S-70i) and 5 Bell 412s (three 412EPs and two 412HPs) - for paramedic transport, hoist rescues and wildland firefighting. Based at Barton Heliport at Whiteman Airport, each morning, a minimum of three regional air squads are operational including deployments to the North (Fire Station 129 Lancaster), East (Brackett Field) and, in fire season, to the West (Fire Camp 8 in Malibu). It received two S-70As in 2001, one in 2005 and two S-70i's in 2020, including N821LA.

Deliveries of the Airbus H160 are accelerating and this early machine was registered in the USA in December 2023. It's pictured departing Fullerton for the Anaheim Convention Center and display at HAI Heli-Expo 2024.

A new Airbus H125 registered (as an AS350B-3) to Kern County Sheriff in May 2023. It's one of two replacing Kern County Sheriff's Office (KFSO) 1986 MD-500Es.

California based Helistream have a full line of helicopters for hire that include this Bell 205A-1++. It's 1980 machine first used by the Philippine Air Force (30330) and later registered RP-C1545 before returning to the USA as N2154L. The helicopter was re-registered N229HT in 2008.

This former US Army UH-1D 66-16335 was later converted to UH-1H standards. Sold to the US Forest Service in March 1995, it was first registered N4212C and after 2009 N541FA. One of two UH-1s (and two Bell 412s) with the Orange County Fire Authority based at Fullerton equipped for day or night fire fighting and rescue.

This Astar has been with CHP since 2002.

This 2008 Bell 412 was first flown for the Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company for one year before coming to the Orange County Fire Authority in May 2009. They received their second one in September 2009.

Former US Army UH-1V 67-17334 was last with the 126th Medical Company (ARNG) based at Mather AFB, CA. It was acquired by the Orange County Fire Authority for use as a hoist trainer and wears fictitious registration N3132B.
