This lovely helicopter is operating out of Den Helder for the time being. They were doing a flight along the Waddeneilanden and turned South abeam Groningen. Naturally, ATC arranged a fly-by, but unfortunately I made a wrong gamble concerning my position vs the actual flight path of the helicopter. Resulting in a backlit photo... Nevertheless a superb visitor!

One of only 2 examples flying in the country. They are operated by Zelf Vliegen, to train future pilots for Transavia (hence the green colors). This aircraft suffered a gear collapse when vacating the runway at Lelystad on June 18, 2020. Repairs were done in Italy and the aircraft returned to Lelystad in February 2021.

The entire fleet of Dutch registered Gabriels in 1 photo. The aircraft are operated by Zelf Vliegen, who train future Transavia pilots (hence the livery). As the days are getting longer, night time hours are getting scarce. Both aircraft made the most of it with a long navigation flight over the country and ending up at Eelde for the weekend. Mobile stairs were the solution to get an elevated point of view, to capture both aircraft in 1 photo. You'll notice the slight livery differences between both aircraft, this is because the -TRZ had to undergo repairs after a landing mishap last year. On June 28 2022 PH-TRC crashed into the Zwarte Meer lake in The Netherlands. Sadly both occupants did not survive.

Delivered to KLM in April 1983, but immediately leased to Airbus as F-WZEE until October 1983. Withdrawn from use and stored at Mobile (KBFM) on October 25, 1995. Converted to cargo and to FedEx in October 1996 as N424FE. Stored at Victorville (KVCV) in September 2009. Broken up at Victorville in 2010. As can be seen in the photo, the amount of people interested in seeing this big bird at Eelde was overwhelming.

To Odense (EKOD). Arrived from Maastricht (EHBK) the day before. One of several PZL-Mielec aircraft that visited the Paris Air Show. This aircraft was the second prototype M-18 and first flew on October 2, 1976.

Arrived from Maastricht (EHBK) the day before. One of several aircraft transitting through Eelde on their way home from the Paris Air Show. The aircraft was the third prototype and first flew on May 23, 1977. It was owned by PZL-Mielec until March 4, 1977, when it was sold and flown to England. Bought by the RAF history museum in Manston, where it arrived on August 21, 2013. The aircraft was repainted to represent the Polish aerobatic team 'White and Red Sparks'.

To Wyk auf Föhr. Arrived from Zuid-Limburg the day before. Built in 1946 and entered the Danish register in November 1946. Cancelled in August 1958 and became D-ECOT. Back to OY-DVI in June 1959.
