The 153rd Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron was part of the Mississippi Air National Guard and based at Key Field ANGB. The squadron is currently equipped with KC-135 Stratotankers, but in the old days - after the prop era - it flew jets like the RF-80 Shooting Star, RF-84F Thunderflash, RF-101C Voodoo and these nice RF-4C Phantoms IIs. This 418 was temporary based at Bergstrom and a nice change to the massive number of photographed BA-coded Recce Phantoms that day.

Two visitors on the opposite of the runway of Bergstrom AFB (TX). The Texan megabase, housed a massive number of RF-4Cs and F-4Ds those days and was often visited by USAF aircraft that flew cross country and/or navigation missions through the USA. Likewise these two Fighting Falcons, originating from Hill AFB (UT). The aircraft marked "12 AF" carries serial 82-0916/HL (construction number 61-509).
