This great coloured Skyhawk was returned to basic white/orange colours within the Naval Training Command as A-765 with TW-1/VT-7 from February 1992. The Skyhawk went into storage as AMARC as 3A0858 from 9 September 1999.

Stored at AMARC/AMARG with inventorycode 3A0750 from 17 March 1994. The last user of the aircraft was VF-126 as NJ-615 from jun92.

A Ghostriders F-14A during a detachment at NAS Fallon (NV). The aircraft was involved in a so-called work-up period at Fallon for an upcoming deployment with the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69).

This beauty was once delivered to VC-7 at NAS Miramar and stored in the late seventies at AMARC with inventory code 3A527. The aircraft returned to service via Naval Air Rework Facility (NARF) Pensacola (FL) and assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 127 "Cyclones" at NAS Fallon where it started to fly in this striking colour scheme with code/modex NJ-702. After VFA-127 was disestablished (March 1996) the aircraft moved to NAS Miramar again to operated with Fighter squadron (VF) 126 "Bandits" as NJ-600, NJ-623 VF-126 before it went to AMARC (again) as inventory code 3A0748 in March 1994.

Adversary Skyhawk of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 127 "Cyclons" at homebase Fallon. The squadron ws once established as Attack Squadron (VA) 127 on 15 June 1962 at NAS Lemoore (CA). It was redesignated VFA-127 on 1 March 1987 and eventually disestablished on 23 March 1996.

Striking CAG colors on this Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron 115 (VAW-115)"Liberty Bells" Hawkeye. The aircraft belongs to the Carrier Air Wing FIVE inventory and is normally based at Naval Air Facility Atsugi (Japan) and was deployed to Fallon for complex training exercises for a upcoming deployment.

This EA-18G looks as if it shows its muscles on the platform of Fallon. The unit was just renamed from Naval Strike Air Warface Center (NSAWC, pronounced as ensawk) to Naval Air Warfare Development Center (NAWDC, nowdik)

Former Swiss Air Force F-5F serial J-3055 was sold to the US Navy for adversary training. The aircraft addapted its FMS serial 761580 as BuNo and was furnished in a striking black color scheme. It is seen here returning from an Air Combat Manoeuvring mission with CVW-5 Super Hornets.

A twin-seat Skyhawk of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 127 "Cyclones" at the ramp of homebase NAS Fallon. The adversary aircraft is even in rest closely and aggressively observed by its opponent in the back-ground, a VF-143 "Pukin Dogs" F-14A Tomcat.

There are striking color schemes and... there are striking color schemes. This one belongs to both categories I think! A-4F NJ-700 of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 127 "Cyclones" at homebase NAS Fallon. The hot rod was stored with 309th AMARG at Davis Monthan from 14 September 1992 onwards with inventory code 3A0679. Sadly, the airframe did not survive its storage period as it was scrapped by Fritz Enterprises in January 2005.

An A-4F of Strike Fighter Squadron 127 "Cyclones" prepared for a new mission over the Fallon ranges. This airframe once served the Blue Angels as number 4, and arrived with VFA-127 early 1989. Already before VFA-127 was disestablished on 23 March 1996, the A-4 was transferred to the Naval Fighter Weapons School (NFWS) at Miramar and served as code 54 from '91 to '92. Then it was transferred to Fighter Squadron 43 "Challengers" at Oceana with code AD-25. From Apr'94 onwards the Skooter was stored at AMARC where it was eventually scrapped in Jan'05 'Bullet/Elk', 3A0766 AMARC arr 7apr94/07jan05

Seen taxying out for a (test) flight after not having flown for a long time. Part of the tail has obviously been replaced, judging by the different colour and code (57) on the blue rudder.
