This is a replica of the type that on 30-Aug-1921 set a world flight distance record of 4.6 km and a world flight endurance record of 13 minutes. This replica was built by Helmut Regenhardt and Niels Seichter. It is left uncovered to show the inner details

D-7201 first flight Nov-1966, to the Deutsches Segelflugmuseum at Wasserkuppe delivered Feb-2014, at that time it carried the fin code VA. This is the prototype of this all-metal glider with 15m wing span. Series production was by Pilatus as the B4-PC-11

D-6293 was built by Schwarzwald or by a Fliegergruppe. It was later handed over to the Deutsches Segelflugmuseum at Wasserkuppe where it was rebuilt to look like the original Mü-13 Atalante

D-8353 built in 1959, the first Phönix of the series production by Bölkow. The Phönix was the very first glass-reinforced plastic glider in the world. In 1987 it was handed over to the Deutsches Segelflugmuseum at Wasserkuppe

D-4686 was built by Walter Schneider, first flight 19-Apr-1964. In 2004 it was handed over to the Deutsches Segelflugmuseum at Wasserkuppe. This was the second of the two D-36s built and differed from V-1 by having a parachute brake instead of spoilers. The D-36 was one of the first glassfiber sailplanes. V-1 won the German National Championships in 1964 and became second in the World Championships in 1965

D-4311 first flight 31-Dec-1965, to N4472 cancelled Jul-2005, given to Deutsches Segelflugmuseum where it is painted again as D-4311. This is the prototype ASW-12

D-1398 served for more than 20 years as a research aircraft at the DLR - Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt. It was equipped with sensors and instruments in the wings and fuselage to do measurements in the lower atmosphere. Later it went to the Deutsches Segelflugmuseum as seen here. The Kranich III was designed by Hans Jacobs and made its first flight in 1952.

D-7110 was built by Mr. Helmut Regenhardt from the original plans. He started work in 1999 and in 2001 the aircraft was already in an advanced stage. It was then expected to fly in 2003/2004 but details about this are missing. It later went to the Deutsches Segelflugmuseum. The Grüne Post was designed by Alexander Lippisch for the popular magazine Grüne Post that made the plans available. The first flight was made in Nov-1932 and about 250 were completed from the plans by aviation groups

BGA3277 registered Mar-1990, later to Deutsches Segelflugmuseum. The construction plans for this glider were published by Hans Jacobs in a 1932 book and quite a few were built. This one was built by Mike L Beach in the UK in 1990 and flew well. Also Schleicher built a similar model but with a number of differences. Both were developed from the 1923 Lippisch Djävlar Annama. Djävlar Annama is a curse used often by Swedish workers in the Lippisch workshop when the hammer landed on their fingers. Hol's der Teufel is a rough translation of that
