Taken during an administrative stop, filling out the paperwork for us to proceed to Macara, at the Peruvian border. The low ominous ceiling is obvious in this shot, and it took us a while to break through the clouds before continuing our sunny way to the border. Amazing trip! Dataplate checked by myself.
2 sisters seen at their homebase. Note that the forward one (HC-U0050) is the slightly newer model with only 1 wing strut. This paint job was designed by the owner and was later used in the sales brochure of Ibis. Both ships are Rotax powered. Dataplate checked by myself.
This is a very simple flex-wing microlight yet it has a retractable rear undercarriage to reduce drag. Seen at the Flying Show at the National Exhibition Centre this new type was unregistered though it may have become G-CHNP which was registered just a few days later
