A very rich history for this bird, starting with a long back-and-forth between 1988 and 2004. Operating for Air 2000, Air 2000 Canada, Canada 3000 Airlines, Royal Airlines, Aero Continente, Skyservice Airlines and First Choice. Carrying the registrations G-OOOD, C-FXOD, C-GYRU and C-GBOD. In May 2004 with Babcock & Brown as N235SC before going to VarigLog in February 2007 as PR-LGF. To N235WD in February 2010, bought by Jetran late 2014, stored at GYR 2012-2015. To Colt Aviation as PR-XCA in November 2015, stored at MIA 2017-2019, stored at ROW since August 2019.

While taxiing to the active runway, I had a good view of the maintenance center at Alajuela. Some interesting aircraft parked there. This one is ex. N130ST (Trans Texas Airlines, Texas Int'l Airlines, Air National). As N563PC, she served with Purolator, Emery Worldwide, Kitty Hawk, C&M Airways and Frontera Flight Holdings. Since October 2017 part of the Aeronaves fleet as XA-TIG.

This was a nice bonus! Pictured popping in to GLA before departing an hour later for Loch Lomond. Operated by Loch Lomond Seaplanes.

BA1482 is pictured about to touch down on rw23 after the flight up from Heathrow. Rather sadly this was the final BA 757 flight into Glasgow as the type was withdrawn from service at the end of the day.

'Camber 133' is pictured backtracking along rw13 for departure off 31 after a tech stop at Prestwick. Having heard that this venerable old bird was in, we arrived at PIK expecting only a parked up shot but in fact she was getting ready to taxy - super!
