OO-ZAJ was registered in Aug-1966. In Jun-2003 the registration was cancelled as destroyed.

59YJ is a modern development of the famous Mignet Pou-du-Ciel. No history details are currently known but it is registered in the departement Nord. It is carrying the text "Champs Elysées 1998". Note the stall-free wing construction.

Registered 59PD in the departement Nord, it later became 50NU in the departement Manche. It is seen here taking-off from Rwy 24.

This K-8B was amateur-built by a club or group and registered D-0131. In Nov-1985 it became OO-ZOX.

Built in 1990 by L.Quintens, it was first registered 21-Aug-1990 as OO-970, but already 28-Aug-1990 it was reregistered as OO-123. On 24-Oct-1990 it was registered again as OO-970. The reason for these changes was some confusion if the aircraft belonged in the amateur-built category, or in the ultralight one. There is also some confusion about the cn: from the aircraft it was read off as 01, while the official Belgian register says 02. Here it is seen in flight, a rare sight to see the famous 1935 Flying Flea airborne in modern times. The construction of the variable-incidence stall-free front wing is clearly visible here. The rear wing is fixed.

Built by Siebert, it was registered as D-5104. In Aug-1979 it was registered in Belgium as OO-ZMT. It is seen here on finals for Rwy 24.

The Calypso is a Belgian ultralight designed by Erik Reynders and manufactured in Zolder. It can be built as a single-seater or a two-seater version. OO-C77 made its first flight 10-Jul-1999 and is powered by a 45hp Rotax 503 engine. The registration is only painted on the lefthand side, see here

The Cabis 2 was designed and built by the brothers Cappuyns. It was registered in Oct-1986 as OO-745 and made its first flight the same year. It is powered by a 40 hp Rotax 447. OO-745 is the only one built.

Built in 1993 by Orlican in Czechia and registered OO-ZXV, in Feb-2008 it was reregistered OO-YXV and in Jun-2009 D-5232. It is seen here almost ready for take-off. Note the scimitar-shaped wing.

Ready for take-off from Rwy 24. The Calypso is a Belgian-built ultralight. OO-C68 was registered in Jul-1998 and first flown on 13-Oct-1998. It was fitted with a 50hp Rotax 503 engine. On 18-Jun-2006 it was damaged beyond repair at Avernas together with Fly Synthesis Storch OO-E55 when Rans S-12 Airaile 59-YS landed on top of both parked aircraft.
