Used test reg PT-SMS before delivery to ASA - Atlantic Southeast Airlines as N246AS. With special marking for the 100th of the type. To Ameriflight in 2003 and converted to an EMB-120ER(F) freighter. Still in service in 2025.

Later leased to Brazilian operators Rico Taxi Aereo and KMV Taxi Aereo before going to Mexico in August 1994 as XA-SQN with Aero Sudpacifico. Returned to Brazil as PT-WGE in 1995 and leased for short periods to to Passadero Taxi Aereo and Helisul Taxi Aereo before being sold to Manaus based Rico Taxi Aereo in April 1997. The aircraft was involved in a ground accident, colliding with a building at Manaus in August 2002 and was written off.
