Operated by ALM between September 1, 1978 and March 19, 1980. Later became G-BFMD and N366MV. As the latter, it was seen withdrawn from use at Milwaukee on July 27, 2011. Location is likely one of the ABC islands, but I don't know which. Photo by ALM Public Relations (free for publication).

Peeking around hangar corners can always yield some interesting results.

Pictured during the take-off roll, it would be airborne a few seconds later. They have at least 2 more frames of this type in their fleet, during my stay I also saw the PJ-SUN and PJ-SKY. All pretty appropriate registrations if you ask me!

Delivered new to Air Jamaica in 2003, withdrawn from use mid-2009. Since then the aircraft has flown as D-ABCF for Air Berlin and OE-LCF for Niki and Level.

Flamingo Tower in all her glory. the walkway below the tower is actually the beginning of the arrivals hall. Normally you wouldn't see those that close to each other, but in the Caribbean anything is possible!

Overview of the airport at my favorite island, Bonaire. It's been years since I visited this place last and the runway has seen a major overhaul in the mean time. On the top left at the airport, you can see a big platform, which is used by widebodies like |(at the time) Arkefly 767's and KLM MD-11's (and also for parking smaller bizjets). In front of the terminal and tower, there is a smaller platform, which is used for the scheduled commercial services, like the DAE ATR 42 that is currently on the ground.

A view of our bird before our sightseeing flight. We've been to Bonaire so many times, even lived here, but never had I seen it that well from above. A truly amazing ride along the coastline of my favourite island!
