This F.27 was originally delivered to the Ivory Coast Government as TU-VAJ in December 1970. It then had a long and varied career before joining WDL Aviation as D-AELM in December 1997. After being wfu it was purchased in September 2020 and is now displayed outside Motorworld Cologne, a car-themed hotel and conference venue built on the site of the old Butzweilerhof airfield. This was a test and training field from 1912 an saw airline service from 1922 up to the 1950s when it was superceded by the newly opened Cologne / Bonn (EDDK / CGN).

Delivered new to the air force of Ivory Coast in December 1970 and later served 13 airlines in that country, Italy, Malaysia, Spain, Denmark and Germany. Last used as D-AELM by WDL Aviation and put into storage at Cologne-Bonn. Moved to the remnants of Cologne's first main airport in 2021 and taken good care of, including air conditioning to preserve the airframe from the inside.
