A fighter jockey at the controls: after making speed over the runway the KDC-10 was pulled up steeply and climbed out fast. Not often you get the chance to see the serials on top of the wings.

This was the third visit of a KC10 in a week to Glasgow and it was bringing in troops for an exercise nearby, it was about to land on Runway 05.
