Official photo taken when G-ADWT was being used for spinning trials during early 1937. The rudder is horn-balanced - as installed on the M.2Y - in an effort to help spin recovery. The enlarged cockpits of the Hawk Trainer made its spinning characteristics difficult to recover from. This photo was added on 15 December 2025, and has since been viewed 57 times. |
