Prototype Percival Gull in its original form with horn-balanced rudder reminiscent of the Hendy 302. The racing number 50 was from the King's Cup Air Race but as it has started to fade this must be after that event (8-9 July) but before the accident which resulted in it being virtually destroyed. The accident occured in Scotland in late July or early August 1932 and was attributed to magneto failure. This photo was added on 25 November 2025, and has since been viewed 18 times. |
