Conner Field had long been closed when this photo was taken. N952Z was registered to the WASP Aviation Museum which honoured the women civilian pilots who trained at Conner Filed during World War II. Women's Auxiliary Service pilots were employed ferrying aircraft and training pilots. The WASP Aviation Museum is gone and so is N952Z.
