Delivered to American Airlines as CV240-0 N94227 in 1948. To Central Airlines as N74854 in 1962. Converted to a CV600 in 1966. Central Airlines merged into Frontier Airlines in 1967. Sold in 1973 then to Wright Air Lines in 1976. To SMB Stage Lines and stored at Tucson, AZ from 1983. Engines removed by 1989. Scrapped in 1993.
