Ex PH-TEA of KLM. The aircraft was only with Swissair for seven months, ditching off Folkestone on 19 June 1954 due to fuel exhaustion, with the pilots blamed for negligence. Three occupants drowned. Here the aircraft name Ticino is not applied yet. The christening took place in March 1954.
