Delivered to Air France as Comet 1A F-BGNY in 05.53. Bought by DH in 04.54 and stored. Converted to 1XB in 02.57 as G-AOJU for the Ministry of Supply. To RAF as XM829 in 10.58 serving with the A&AEE at Boscombe Down. To the Stansted fire service in 02.64 and destroyed in 1970.
