Originally delivered to Golden West Airlines in March 1980, the airline ceased flying in 1983 and the aircraft was stored. Bought by Air BC in July 1984, it was in the fleet until returned to Boeing Canada (De Havilland Canada) in 1991 and delivered to Arkia Israeli Airlines (4X-AHK) by September of that year.
