The Pembroke entered service with the RAF during 1953 replacing the Anson in the light transport and communications role. This particular aircraft served with various comms. squadrons in the RAF from 1956 to 81. Following that she was allocated to 5 Maintenance Unit with the serial 8938M and finally arrived at the RAF Museum during 1987. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
