In the movie 'A bridge too far' eleven Dakota's operated from Deelen air base to simulate the airborne landings near Arnhem. This ex-Portuguese AF 6171 was painted in desert camo to look more contrastly in the movie. In reality the Dakota's were of course olive drab. This photo was added on 24 November 2022, and has since been viewed 594 times. |
