Although registered in Malawi to Air Malawi, 7Q-YDL was extensively used by Air Rhodesia on internal services, with and without titles as she is seen here at Victoria Falls in December 1979. Grey anti-missile paint has been applied over the previous polished metal and black. This measure was taken after the the two Viscounts "Hunyani" and "Umniati" were shot down by hand-held missiles in 1978 and 1979.
