slide scan from the NK collection. - Although it had a window line during the first years of operations, D-ABUI came to Lufthansa as a pure freighter in 1967. It stayed on the German register with Lufthansa Cargo and later German Cargo until 1985. In 2004, the aircraft was retired after a non-fatal take-off incident at Manaus, when it was operated for BETA as PP-BSE. This photo was added on 27 July 2021, and has since been viewed 1145 times. |
