slide scan from the NK collection. - Besides a leased example from SAS, Swissair operated seven DC-8-62's between 1967 and 1984; all of them were bought as new airframes from Douglas. Together with its sister ship HB-IDH, the example shown here was sold to the Peruvian Air Force; both airframes were broken up at Lima in 2010 after more than two decades of military service.
