Originally scheduled for the RAF as KL706 but diverted back to USAAF. 6/48: Redesignated B-26C. 5/56: On Mark Engineering, Van Nuys, CA, and registered as N2889D. 1957: Re-registered N40Y. Converted as the prototype Marketeer executive aircraft. 1960: Re-registered as N401Y. By 5/90: Stallion Aircraft/Jack Rodgers, Bensenville, IL. 1993: Jack Rodgers/Air Classics Museum, DuPage Airport, IL. By 1995: Restored to flying condition and painted in a Korean War black scheme. 1998: Courtesy Aircraft sales. Ca. 11/11: Indiana Military Museum.
