This 742 was originally delivered to Qantas as VH-EBF in August 1973. It then went in February 1986 to PEOPLExpress as N610PE, becoming part of Continental in February 1987. The plane was re-registered in October 1990 and is pictured turning on to stand after the overnight flight across the Atlantic. In its last months/years, the plane operated for Continental Micronesia but was retired in March 1999, ferried to Mohave (MHV) and scrapped in August 2008. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
