This Piper L-4 was part of a group of nearly 800 Grasshoppers delivered to the US Army and Navy during the last year of World War II. The aircraft wears it's original USAAF serial number 45-4955 in the care of the Historic Flight Foundation Museum based at Paine Field, Everett, WA.
