Vancouver enjoyed a few Concorde charters during the supersonic years. This one was a state visit by British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher to see Expo 86, Vancouver's 1986 world's fair. Originally G-BFKW, this Concorde was re-registered G-BOAG in 1981. Withdrawn in 1982 and used as a source of needed spares, it was brought back into service in 1984 (and was the first aircraft in the pictured Landor color scheme). When the type was retired, it made it's final flight on November 5, 2003 to Seattle, WA for the Museum of Flight.
